Outdoor enthusiasts will flock to Tilbury on Saturday, April 20 for the annual Big Buck Sportsmen's Show.
The show is hosted annually by the Southwest Outdoors Club at the Tilbury Arena from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
"We've got a load of new vendors coming this year, and lots of new activities for the kids. It's always a fun time, " said organizer Gerry Harvieux. "We give away over $2,500 in door prizes, raffle off an ATV, there will be a lot of other draws taking place. It's a great day for everybody."
People come from all over to attend the show, Harvieux said they have some new hunting and fishing vendors this year.
"Fishing tackle, various equipment, there's custom knife makers, there's people teaching you how to properly cure your meat. Anything to do with hunting or fishing basically, somebody's there covering the bases," Harvieux said.
Last year over 2,500 people came out, plus another 800 kids. Harvieux added that they have lots planned for the kids.
"We have a 3D archery shoot, which is indoors at Ryder Hall. We also have Zoo 2 You coming this year, which is being sponsored by BrokerLink," Harvieux said. "The Tilbury Auto Mall is the main sponsor, and they have a Nerf shooting gallery set up for the kids, and there's our ever popular outdoor Trout fishing pond."
The Beasley Brothers from Monster Whitetails Magazine will be in attendance to score the wildlife trophies.
Admission is $5 for adults, and kids 12 and under are free.
