43-year-old arrested for aggravated assault

Police were called to a Florence Street address in Chatham, Friday night.

At the scene, officers determined that the suspect had attacked two people with a hockey stick.

A 43-year-old man was taken to police headquarters and held in police custody pending a bail hearing.

Arrest made following theft of confidential business documents

Chatham-Kent police responded to a business on Talbot Street West in Blenheim for a theft complaint.

Investigators found that a woman had taken confidential documents from the business.

The 27-year-old woman was located by police and arrested. She's been charged with theft and possession of stolen property under $5,000.

Pokemon cards among stolen items during break-and-enter

Police believe that sometime between March 24 and March 28 suspect(s) broke into a Wallaceburg business.

Officers responded to the James Street address on Friday afternoon for a break-and-enter complaint.

The security system and several Pokemon cards have been reported missing.

There are currently no suspects and the investigation is ongoing.

CK police make multiple warrant arrests

Early Friday morning a 58-year-old man was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant.

Police located the man in the area of Wellington Street East.

The man was released from police custody with a court date of April 29.

Later that same morning, officers found a second wanted man near Wellington St E.

The 42-year-old was arrested and later released with a future court date of April 29.

A third man was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Friday afternoon.

Police say that an officer on general patrol in the city of Chatham located a male in the area of Pine Street. He was wanted for failing to attend court.

The 32-year-old was taken to police headquarters and remains there pending a bail hearing.

Early Saturday morning, police say an officer patrolling Richmond Street in Chatham found a man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

The 55-year-old man was arrested and taken to police headquarters.
