Garage fire in Chatham spreads to RV

The cause is going down as undetermined and no injuries were reported after a fire burned out a garage in Chatham early Monday morning.

Chatham-Kent fire officials said crews from two stations responded to the scene at 38 Mary Street just before 1 a.m. Monday and found flames coming from all sides of the garage, which is attached to a home.

The fire had also spread to an RV that was parked in the driveway just in front of the garage.

Firefighters searched the home, but didn't find anyone inside.

The cause is listed as undetermined and the damage is estimated at $150,000.
