Man arrested for allegedly using stolen cards at Tilbury businesses
A suspect is facing a half-dozen charges after he allegedly stole a pair of credit cards from a vehicle and then used them to make some purchases at a pair of businesses in Tilbury.
Chatham-Kent police said a woman reported the theft to police and that several days after the theft, the woman's cards were used at two local businesses on Queen Street North and Queens Line in Tilbury.
Police said they were able to identify a suspect after reviewing some video surveillance and arrested him.
He was charged with two counts each of fraud, use of a stolen credit card, and possession of stolen property.
The accused was later released with a future court date.

Man arrested for assaulting security on his way out of the hospital
Chatham-Kent police have arrested someone who allegedly assaulted a security guard after he was discharged from the hospital in Chatham.
Police said the man had been treated by medical staff and was asked to leave the property when he allegedly assaulted the guard and threatened to hurt them.
Security was able to hold the man until police arrived and took him away.
He was set to be held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Woman banned from business arrested after shoplifting
A woman who was already banned from a specific business on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg is in trouble with the law again after she allegedly stole from that business.
Police said they were able to identify the woman by reviewing some video surveillance and arrested her.
Officers said they learned that the woman was on probation with a condition that required her to stay away from the specific store she was accused of stealing from.
When police caught up with her, she was arrested and taken to police headquarters where she was set to be held pending a bail hearing.
