Man Arrested for Uttering Threats

A 37-year-old Chatham man, who is presently before the courts, has been arrested again for allegedly uttering threats to his landlord.

Chatham-Kent police said they received a complaint of threats in the Barth Street area in Chatham Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the man is now charged with uttering threats.

Men Arrested for Bail Violations

Two men have been arrested for allegedly violating their bail.

Police in Chatham-Kent said they received several complaints Wednesday afternoon about a man breaching his court release conditions in Wheatley.

Officers found the 45-year-old Wheatley suspect at an address on Erie Street North in Wheatley.

He was arrested and charged with uttering threats and failing to comply with his release orders.

Then Wednesday night, Chatham-Kent police responded to calls of a suspicious person loitering in front of the LCBO store on Wellington Street in Chatham.

Officers discovered the 32-year-old Chatham man, who is known to police, was on court orders not to attend the LCBO.

He was charged with failing to comply with his release orders.
