Intoxicated man arrested at hospital
Chatham-Kent police responded to a local hospital on Friday due to reports of an unwanted person.
"The man was intoxicated by alcohol and was asked to leave after receiving the treatment he attended for," police said in a statement. "The man refused and began to cause a disturbance," the statement continued.
When the man first went to the hospital, it was determined that he wasn't in medical jeopardy, but because he was intoxicated he was unable to care for himself.
Police arrested the man and held him in custody until he was sober.
