Chatham-Kent police make multiple warrant arrests
Chatham-Kent police were called to a business on Richmond Street in Chatham Sunday morning for an alarm.
Officers found a UHaul with two females inside. One of the women was the subject of an outstanding surety relief warrant.
The woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters. She appeared before a judge and was set to be held in custody pending a future hearing.

A Chatham-Kent police officer on patrol in Wallaceburg located a wanted woman on Sunday afternoon.
Police said the woman, who was wanted by police for an outstanding warrant for failing to comply twice and assault, was arrested in the area of Albert Street.
The 49-year-old was later released from custody with a future court date.
Shortly after the first arrest, police made a second in the area of Wallace Street.
Officers located a 44-year-old man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply and impaired operation.
The man was arrested and released from custody with a future court date.

Man arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol
A 44-year-old man has been arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol.
Chatham-Kent police responded to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Erieau Road and Middle Line at around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday.
Police said the man was found to be driving while intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to police headquarters for more breath tests. The accused’s results were more than double the legal limit.
The 44-year-old was charged and later released after sobering up with a future court date.

Police drone helps nab three suspects hiding near pond in Tilbury
Three people face several charges after police located a UHaul loaded with stolen property in Tilbury.
Police said they were called to an address on Oak Road just after 12 a.m. on Monday for a report of suspicious activity.
Officers found the UHaul loaded with property but the suspects had fled.
A drone was deployed and police were able to locate the three suspects hiding near a retaining pond.
A 26-year-old female from Blenheim, a 58-year-old Tilbury male, and 33-year-old Tilbury male were all arrested for trespass by night and theft and possession under $5,000.
All three parties were released with a future court date.
