Break-and-enter results in damage
Chatham-Kent police responded to a home on Emily Street in Wallaceburg for reports of a break-and-enter.
It was determined that sometime between January 6 and February 3 unknown suspect(s) forced their way into the residence and caused about $300 of damage.
Nothing was believed to have been taken and there are currently no suspects.
The investigation is ongoing.

Man arrested for driving under the influence of drugs
A 44-year-old man has been arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs.
Early Sunday morning, a police officer on general patrol in the area of King Street West in Chatham spotted a vehicle travelling well under the speed limit.
During a traffic stop, the officer came to believe that the driver was impaired. He was taken to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for further testing.
The DRE tests showed that the man was impaired by a stimulant.

Multiple warrant arrests made
Chatham-Kent police were called to a home on Base Line Road on Saturday night for a family dispute.
It was determined that a woman at the residence had an outstanding warrant against her. Police said that she was found to be intoxicated and that she also assaulted an officer.
"The 41-year-old female was arrested on the strength of the warrant and for assaulting a police officer," a release from police said.
The woman was taken to police headquarters and held until she sobered up.

On Saturday, police went to a residence on London Road in Thamesville and found a woman who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The 69-year-old woman was arrested and taken to police headquarters.
She was later released with a future court date.

On Saturday afternoon, police responded to an ambulance assist call in the area of Stewart Street in Chatham.
According to police, a 41-year-old man at the location was found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The man was arrested on the strength of the warrant and later released on a future court date.

An officer on general patrol in Chatham, found a man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The 33-year-old was arrested in the area of Colborne Street and taken to police headquarters. He was booked and held in police custody pending a bail hearing.

A Chatham-Kent police officer on patrol in Wallaceburg located a wanted man on Saturday morning.
The 33-year-old was seen in the area of Albert Street and arrested on the strength of the warrant. After his arrest, the man was taken to police headquarters for booking.
He was later released with a future court date.

While on general patrol in Wallaceburg, an officer spotted a 34-year-old on Reaume Avenue who was known to have a warrant out against him.
He was taken to police headquarters for booking and held pending a bail hearing.
