Man arrested for mischief at Chatham Tim Hortons
A 32-year-old Chatham-Kent man has been arrested and charged with mischief after he allegedly "interfered with business operations" at a Tim Hortons in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent police said they were called to the restaurant on Third Street for a disturbance at around 6:45 a.m. Monday and arrested the man.
Police said the same man was arrested for a similar occurrence on Queen Street in Chatham.
The accused was arrested and charged with mischief.
He was taken to police headquarters and was set to be held there pending a bail hearing.
The man is currently facing a handful of charges including two counts each of mischief and failing to comply with a probation order and one count of uttering threats.

Crashes keep the police traffic unit busy
Chatham-Kent police were called to eight motor vehicle collisions across the municipality on Monday.
Police said four of them were single-vehicle crashes where vehicles slid off the roadway -- one of them hit a sign, two vehicles hit hydro poles, and the fourth went off the road and into a ditch.

Police looking for white pickup truck in alleged hit and run
CK police are putting out a call for tips as they try to track down an older model white Ram pickup truck that was involved in a collision on the McNaughton Avenue bridge in Wallaceburg Monday morning.
Police said they were called to the scene just after 8 a.m. Monday and learned that the pickup had been heading north on the bridge when it tried to pass a second vehicle on the right.
Officers said the pickup truck hit the other vehicle, damaging to the mirror in the process.
Police said the driver of the pickup stopped long enough to apologize, but then took off.

Another hit and run in CK
Chatham-Kent police are also looking to track down a white SUV that hit a vehicle in Tilbury just before 11 p.m. Monday and then took off.
Police said they were called to a public parking lot on the corner of Queen Street North and Prospect Street in Tilbury for a collision and learned that about 10 minutes before the caller contacted police, a white SUV backed out of a parking space and hit her vehicle, damaging the rear bumper.
The SUV then left the scene without stopping.

Charges laid after crashes in Chatham-Kent
Two drivers are facing charges after two separate crashes Monday evening in Chatham-Kent.
Police said in the first case, a Hyundai SUV rear-ended a Dodge pickup truck.
That was on Talbot Line between West Ridge Line and Fargo Road in Harwich Township shortly after 6 p.m. Monday.
The drivers did not report any physical injuries as a result of the crash.
The driver of the Hyundai was charged with an undisclosed Highway Traffic Act offence and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
In the second case, a driver was charged with careless driving after a Honda Civic collided with a Ford F150 pickup truck equipped with a salter.
Police said they were called to that scene just before 8:30 p.m. Monday on Longwoods Road between Centre Side Road and James Street in Chatham Township.
Officers said they needed to temporarily close the road as a result of the crash.
The driver of the Honda reported minor injuries and was charged with careless driving.
