Alleged impaired driver arrested after crash

Lambton OPP have charged a Wallaceburg driver in connection with a crash on Tuesday.

Police said officers on patrol at around 8:15 p.m. observed a single-vehicle collision on Lambton Line near Mandaumin Road.

While speaking with the driver, police allege it was apparent they were impaired and breath samples taken at an OPP detachment indicated they were over the legal limit.

A 42-year-old woman was charged with impaired driving and a blood alcohol concentration over 80.

She was released and is scheduled to appear in Sarnia court at a later date.

OPP remind residents that if you suspect a driver may be impaired by alcohol or drugs, call police at 1-888-310-1122 or *OPP (677) on your mobile phone.
