An 85-year-old Dresden man has been found dead.
Chatham-Kent police first issued a missing person alert for Johan Boldt on December 30, 2023, after he was last seen around 4 p.m. in the area of Sydenham Street and Stephen Lane.
Police said the body was found at around noon on Monday, January 1.
"The Chatham-Kent Police Service offers sincere condolences to the family and friends of Johan," police said in a statement. "We would also like to thank the numerous community members and members of Chatham-Kent Fire that assisted with search efforts."
No further information has been released.
