Pretty in Pink marks milestone raising $30K for CK Hospice

A local fundraising group is celebrating a decade-long milestone after raising a significant amount of money for the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.

Pretty in Pink, a women’s group out of Dover, recently handed over a cheque for $30,000 to the local Hospice.

The group has been raising money through a series of events for the hospice since 2014.

“I am so grateful to all the members of Pretty in Pink for their remarkable dedication and generosity in supporting our hospice families from the start," said Jodi Maroney, executive director of the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation. "They are not only amazing at hosting events, but they have a lot of fun doing it."

Over the past ten years, the group has been able to raise funds by hosting a chili cook-off, a dinner and dance, and a golf tournament.

The money raised this year will go toward buying a cuddle bed for the Hospice.
