Chatham man accused of reaching out to victim via Facebook
A Facebook message led to a Chatham man's arrest on Tuesday.
Chatham-Kent police said the man was arrested for intimate partner violence in June before he was released with conditions.
He was arrested again Tuesday after he allegedly reached out to a victim via social media even though he had been ordered to stop communicating with them.
The investigating officer found the man at his home and arrested him.
He was charged with failing to comply with an undertaking and was taken to police heaquarters before he was released with conditions and a future court date.

Woman arrested for breaching her curfew
A 60-year-old Chatham-Kent woman is spending some more time in police custody after officers followed up on a tip that she wasn't obeying her release conditions.
Police said the woman was arrested on August 22 and released with conditions that included requirement for her to live at a specific address, to stay there between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. daily, and to present herself when requested by a peace officer.
Officers said they were notified at around 2:15 a.m. on December 3 that the woman was not obeying those conditions, so they went looking for her at her listed address and obtained a warrant for her arrest when they couldn't find her.
Police said they caught up with the woman just after 6 p.m. Tuesday at an address on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg and arrested her there.
She was charged with failing to comply with her release conditions and was set to be taken to police headquarters pending a bail hearing.
