Multiple disturbances led to arrest
Police responded to several disturbances on King Street West in Chatham in the last 24 hours.
A lone man was found to be involved in most of the incidents.
The man was located on Wellington Street West. He was arrested for being intoxicated in public after attempting to fight another person in view of police.

Driver arrested after crashing into hydro pole
Police arrested a man following a single-vehicle collision on Colborne Street in Chatham.
A 24-year-old man was found behind the wheel of a vehicle that had crashed into a hydro pole.
It was believed that the driver had been drinking alcohol, so he was taken to police headquarters for further tests.
He was found to be 1.5 times over the legal limit and charged with impaired driving.

Chatham man arrested after argument with partner
Chatham-Kent police were called to a Randolf Crescent home following an argument between a man and a woman.
The verbal altercation reportedly escalated to a cell phone being thrown at the woman and other damages done to property in the house.
A 45-year-old Chatham man has been charged with assault with a weapon and mischief under $5000.

Police warn drivers of wildlife on local roads
Police responded after a vehicle travelling on Drury Road struck a deer.
The vehicle was no longer drivable and had to be towed.
Motorists are reminded to be more vigilant on local roads, especially during dusk and dawn, which is when most collisions with deer occur.
