Moraviantown man charged
At 9 a.m. on Friday, Chatham-Kent police discovered a stolen vehicle behind a Thamesville business on London Road.
According to police, the vehicle was reported stolen on Tuesday, October 17.
Following an investigation a 40-year-old Moraviantown man has been charged with possession of stolen property worth more than $5,000.

Multiple impaired driving arrests
Shortly after 11 a.m. Friday police responded to a call about a possible impaired driver at a business on Grand Avenue West.
The woman was found in her vehicle "exhibiting signs of being impaired by drugs" police said.
The 38-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and taken to police headquarters for further tests.
She was charged with driving while impaired by a narcotic and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.

A 22-year-old Chatham man faces charges for driving while impaired by alcohol.
According to police, at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday an officer saw a vehicle cross the centre line on King Street several times and pulled the driver over.
During the traffic stop the officer came to believe that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
After more tests, the Chatham man was charged and issued a 3-day licence suspension and a future court date.
