Man throws a fit and his meal
A 43-year-old Tilbury man is facing an assault charge after a request for his dishes set him off.
Chatham-Kent police said they were called to an address in Tilbury at around 11:20 a.m. Tuesday and learned that the man had allegedly become "irate" when his dad asked him to bring his dishes over to be washed.
Police said at that point, the man allegedly "threw his meal across the kitchen table" and pushed someone to the ground.
When officers arrived, they arrested a 43-year-old man and charged him with assault.
He was taken to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date.

Chatham man banned from Walmart arrested for showing up anyway
A 41-year-old Chatham man is in more trouble with police after he allegedly visited Walmart in Chatham after he was banned from that store.
Chatham-Kent police said they got that call shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday and learned that the man had been spotted by loss prevention staff in the store and was asked to leave.
He did leave, but when police arrived, they arrested him for failing to comply with his release conditions.
Police said he had been ordered not to go to the store as a condition of his release earlier this month after he was charged with theft and possession of stolen property in connection with a shoplifting incident there.
The man was taken to police headquarters and was set to be held in custody pending a bail hearing.
