A Chatham-Kent youth has been charged with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
Chatham-Kent police said the youth, who can't be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested following an investigation into the possession of child sexual abuse material this week.
Police said investigators of the Chatham-Kent Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) searched a home in Chatham and charged the youth.
"The youth was released from custody after a show cause hearing," said police.
