Man Arrested for Assault

Assault charges have been laid against a man following a domestic disturbance in Chatham.

Chatham-Kent police said the charges stem from an incident in April on Adelaide Street North in Chatham when a man head-butted a woman during an argument.

The woman received minor physical injuries to her upper lip, according to police.

The 58-year-old suspect turned himself in to police on Wednesday.

Three Men Arrested for Robbery

Three local men have been charged with robbery, assault with a weapon, and assault causing bodily harm after a victim was assaulted in his home and an electronic device was taken.

Chatham-Kent police said the disturbance happened on Sunday at a Delaware Avenue address in Chatham.

Police said officers were able to identify three suspects through video surveillance.

A 38-year-old Blenheim man, a 40-year-old Chatham man, and a 21-year-old Chatham man all turned themselves in to police Tuesday and Wednesday.

Man Arrested for Bail Violations

Chatham-Kent police have charged a 52-year-old Chatham-Kent man with failing to comply with a court release order after he was found at a business in Chatham when he wasn't to be there.

Police said the suspect breached his bail when he was found at the business on St. Clair Street in Chatham on Wednesday.

Man Arrested for Theft

A 46-year-old man from Chatham-Kent has been charged with theft and possession of stolen property after some keys went missing at a Chatham hotel.

Police said a man entered the hotel's front lobby on Richmond Street in Chatham, stole a set of keys, and left the premises early Thursday morning.

Officers recognized the suspect through surveillance footage after having previous interactions with police.

The man was located a short time later and the keys were recovered.
