Wallaceburg residence broken into, property stolen

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a break-and-enter on Thomas Avenue in Wallaceburg on Saturday.

Police said the residence was entered through an unlocked window between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. resulting in the theft of a bicycle, tools, and other belongings.

Man charged with assault following clash in Chatham-Kent

An argument between two men on Saturday led to one man being charged with assault.

Chatham-Kent police said a 31-year-old man allegedly grabbed another man's head and began shaking him.

The accused was arrested, charged with assault, and released with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent R.I.D.E program

Yesterday evening Police conducted a RIDE Program throughout Chatham-Kent. 280 vehicles

were checked with no infraction.
