Wallaceburg slow roll getting in gear for summer return

Cyclists are gearing up to roll through the community of Wallaceburg for a good cause.

Organizers say 3Rivers Roll is an hour long (10 km) bicycle route through western Wallaceburg with a slow, relaxed pace.

It will be held on Wednesday, July 19, at 6 p.m.

This year, Community Living is partnering with Glasstown Brewing Company, where the event will both begin and end.

“We’re very excited to co-host the 3Rivers Roll in partnership with Community Living Wallaceburg,” said Glasstown Brewery Operations Manager Christina McFadden. “Offering the brewery as a central venue is the perfect opportunity to get involved. In addition to our refreshing craft beer and regular delicious menu, we will be hosting a special BBQ and beverages for purchase following this year’s ride.

While the police-escorted ride is free, cash donations and non-perishables will be accepted.

All donations of non-perishables will go toward supporting both the James Street Drop-In and the Salvation Army.

All bicycles, all ages, and all abilities are welcome.
