Man wanted on nation-wide warrant arrested in Wallaceburg
A 57-year-old Toronto man who was wanted on a Canada-Wide Warrant turned up in Wallaceburg Monday night.
Chatham-Kent police said they found him when they were responding to a theft investigation at a business on Warwick Street at around 8 p.m. Monday.
Officers confirmed the man was wanted and arrested him. He was later transferred to the Southwest Regional Detention Centre.

Woman accused of domestic assault turns herself in
It looks like a 31-year-old Staples woman is ready to face the music.
CK police said she turned herself in to police just at around 10 a.m. Monday after she got a call letting her know she was wanted in connection with a criminal investigation.
Police said she is accused of breaking a window of a man's truck by throwing a bottle. She is also accused of throwing some household items at the man and assaulting him.
Officers got that call just after 7:30 p.m. Sunday and notified the woman of the pending charges.
She was charged with one count of assault and two counts of mischief and was later released with conditions and a future court date.

Police catch up with man who skipped court three years ago
Chatham-Kent police have managed to track down a man who had been wanted since 2020.
Police said they found him while they were conducting a traffic stop on Middle Line in Tilbury East Township shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday.
Officers arrested the man after learning that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in connection with assault charges from an investigation going back to 2020.
Police said the man was taken back to police headquarters and was set to be held there pending a bail hearing.

Argument in Tilbury leads police to wanted man
A disturbance call in Tilbury Monday afternoon ended up leading police to a man who was wanted in connection with a break and enter investigation.
CK police said they were called to the dispute on Queen Street North at 2:45 p.m. Monday and learned that a man there was wanted in connection with the investigation, which went back to March 12, 2023.
The 21-year-old Tilbury man was arrested, taken to police headquarters, and charged with breaking and entering.
He was later released with conditions and a future court date.
