Chatham-Kent police are putting out another call for tips after a shooting in downtown Chatham over the weekend.
Police said they are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident and anyone with video surveillance of the area to come forward.
As previously reported, a 32-year-old man was taken to the hospital for medical attention after the shooting in the area of King Street West and Fifth Street in Chatham early Sunday morning.
Police said the man who was injured suffered non-life threatening injuries and is still receiving medical care.
The 25-year-old man who was arrested and charged with attempted murder in the case has been identified as Jared Atwell of Chatham.
He made a court appearance over the weekend and is set to be held in custody pending his next appearance on May 5.
Police are once again reassuring the public that there is no further concern for public safety, adding that the two people involved in the incident know each other.
