Wallaceburg Fire Truck. (Photo courtesy of CKbranding.com)There are no injuries to report after a fire broke out in a home on Margaret Avenue in Wallaceburg Wednesday night.
Chatham-Kent fire crews were called to the scene just after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and were able to contain the fire to one room where firefighters were able to quickly knock down the flames.
The cause is going down as accidental and there is no word on a damage estimate.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
