Woman arrested on outstanding warrant 

Chatham-Kent police have scratched one more person off their wanted list.

A 41-year-old woman, who was known to be wanted on a warrant, was arrested Saturday in the area of McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg.

She was transported to police headquarters for booking and lodged until a bail hearing.

Theft complaint at Chatham business leads to arrest 

A 40-year-old Chatham man is facing charges after attending the Walmart in Chatham despite being under court-ordered conditions to not attend the store.

Police said they were called to the Walmart on St. Clair Street just after 6 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a theft.

The man was located, arrested, and charged with resist arrest, as well as theft and possession under $5,000.

Police said through investigation they also learned that the man was under conditions to not attend the store.

He was additionally charged with a breach of undertaking.
