Blenheim man arrested for criminal harassment

A 19-year-old man faces a criminal harassment charge after allegedly continuing to attend his mother's home despite being unwanted there.

Police said they received a call just after 7 a.m. on Monday about an unwanted person in Blenheim.

Officers learned that the man had been attending his mother’s home despite being removed several times by police.

The man was located a short distance away by police and was arrested for criminal harassment.

The 19-year-old was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.

Officers arrest two people wanted by police

Chatham-Kent police have caught two more people who made their wanted list.

A 46-year-old  woman was arrested on the strength of a DNA warrant after attending court in Chatham on Monday.

The woman was released from custody unconditionally after a DNA sample was obtained.

A 36-year-old Chatham woman has turned herself into the police.

The woman was wanted on two outstanding warrants for failing to attend court and assault.

The 36-year-old was arrested on the strength of the warrants and held in police custody pending a bail hearing.
