Man arrested for breaching probation
Chatham-Kent police caught up with a wanted man during a traffic stop Thursday afternoon.
Police said they found the 24-year-old Howard Township man -- who was wanted for failing to comply with a probation order -- while they were conducting a traffic stop on Kent Bridge Road in Harwich Township.
Officers said the man was arrested, taken back to police headquarters, and later released with conditions and a future court date.

Man arrested for domestic violence
A 21-year-old Chatham man is facing a pair of charges after he allegedly assaulted a woman during a couple of separate arguments over the past week.
CK police said they learned about the alleged assaults after responding to an address on Elizabeth Street in Chatham just before 10 p.m. Thursday.
Police said their investigation showed the man had allegedly pushed the woman after they got into an argument. Officers also learned that there was a similar incident on Sunday.
The accused was charged with two counts of assault and he was later released with conditions and a future court date.

Man arrested for failing to sign in with police
A 27-year-old Chatham man who was just released from the court in December is facing more charges now.
Chatham-Kent police said the man was released on December 21, 2022 with several conditions -- including one that required him to sign in with police on specific dates.
Officers said they man was arrested after he failed to do that and was later released with conditions and a future court date.
