A 37-year-old from Pembroke is charged with careless driving after a crossover crash on the Highway 401 that shut down the highway for a couple of hours near Kent Bridge Road on Sunday.
OPP say a passenger vehicle with three people inside crashed into the wire guardrail at around 3:30 p.m. Sunday and crossed the centre median before stopping on the opposite side of the highway.
One of the occupants of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries but no other injuries were reported.
The highway was temporarily shut down for the investigation.
