Chainsaw, gas reported stolen from barn

Chatham-Kent police are investigating after someone stole a Stihl chainsaw and some gas from an unlocked barn on Scane Road in Ridgetown.

Police said the break-in and theft took place sometime over the past two weeks, adding that the stolen goods are worth an estimated $500 altogether.

Woman arrested for breaching release conditions

A call about a domestic dispute in Chatham late Thursday night led to an arrest.

Police said they responded to the incident just after 11 p.m. Thursday and that a female who was involved in the dispute admitted to breaching her release order during a video interview.

She was arrested, charged, and later released with a future court date.
