Tools, leaf blower stolen during shed break-in
Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they investigate a break-in at a home on Glenwood Drive in Chatham.
Police said sometime Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, someone found a hidden shed key and used that to open a shed on the property before stealing some tools and a leaf blower.

Tools reported stolen from shed in Blenheim
Chatham-Kent police are investigating a second shed break-in, this time in Blenheim.
Police said someone forced their way into a shed at a residence on Water Street sometime Tuesday night or Wednesday morning and took off with various tools.
The estimated value of the stolen items is around $2,000.

Woman accused of stealing from multiple stores in Chatham
A 63-year-old Windsor woman is facing charges after she allegedly stole from a trio of big box stores in Chatham and then gave police a fake name.
Police said they caught up with her just before 1 p.m. Wednesday after they received a report of a theft at Walmart on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Officers said their investigation showed that she had allegedly stolen items from that store and two others -- Home Depot and Real Canadian Superstore.
She was arrested for the thefts and also charged with obstructing police because she allegedly gave officers a fake name.
The accused was taken back to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date.
