Tilbury woman arrested after hitting ex-spouse with her vehicle
A 32-year-old Tilbury woman is facing a handful of charges after she allegedly ran into her ex-spouse multiple times with her vehicle during an argument Tuesday night.
Chatham-Kent police said they were called to the domestic dispute on Fort Street in Tilbury just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and learned that the woman and her ex-spouse had been arguing when her ex-spouse tried to leave with their two children.
At that point, the woman allegedly got into her car and started driving after them, eventually driving towards the ex-spouse and hitting him with the vehicle.
The woman then allegedly threatened her ex-spouse and her kids, then hit her ex-spouse several more times with her vehicle after he called police.
Police arrested the woman a short distance away once they arrived.
The woman accused of hitting her ex-spouse was charged with three counts of uttering threats along with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assault, and assault with a weapon.
She was taken to police headquarters and was set to be held there pending a bail hearing.

Wanted woman turns herself in
A 28-year-old Chatham woman who was wanted for failing to attend court has been arrested.
Police said she turned herself in at CKPS headquarters just before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
After she was arrested, the woman was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.

Wanted Chatham woman arrested after disturbance
A call about an unwanted house guest led police to a wanted woman in Chatham Tuesday night.
Police said they were called to a residence on Poplar Street in Chatham at around 9:20 p.m. and learned there was a woman at the home who was not welcome at the residence and had not been granted entrance there.
She was already gone by the time police arrived, but officersfound her a short distance away and arrested her.
Police said the same woman had been wanted on a separate warrant for an incident that took place on September 29.
The 47-year-old Chatham woman was taken back to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date.

Wanted man arrested on Colborne Street in Chatham
Chatham-Kent police have caught up with a 47-year-old Chatham man who was wanted for theft and possession of stolen property.
Police said they picked him up on Colborne Street in Chatham just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.
He was taken back to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.
