Woman charged following criminal harassment investigation 

A Chatham woman is facing several charges after allegedly threatening and harassing a man.

Police said their investigation started on June 10, 2022, after learning that a man was being harrassed. It's alleged the woman was constantly calling, following him, and showing up at his apartment.

Investigators claim the woman caused damage to the man’s apartment and threatened to harm him.

The 42-year-old was arrested and charged with criminal harassment, mischief, and two counts of uttering theats.

She was released from police headquarters with conditions and a future court date.

Police looking for public help after property of a local social club was damaged 

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for some help after someone caused extensive damage to the air conditioning unit of The Portuguese Club on Grand Avenue East in Chatham.

Police said the incident happened sometime between June 22, 2022, and July 7, 2022.
