Bridge washing is set to take place around Chatham-Kent next week will cause some detours and delays for motorists.
From Monday, June 6 to Friday, June 10, various bridge structures across the municipality will be impacted. Drivers can expect lane restrictions and minor delays.
The bridge washing dates are scheduled for the following days:

On Thursday, June 9 the Lord Selkirk Bridge in Wallaceburg will be fully closed from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. between James Street and Wallace Street to allow for bridge washing. There will be no through access when the bridge is closed for cleaning.
The following detour will be posted: Murray St (Hwy 40) – Base Line – Old Glass Rd – Mason St – Arnold St – Dufferin Ave.
