Woman, man charged after house call
A 26-year-old Chatham woman and a 29-year-old Chatham man are both facing charges after they spent some time together despite a court order to keep them separated.
Chatham-Kent police said the man was released from the court in January with conditions not to communicate or associate with a specific woman.
However, police said when officers showed up at the woman's residence for a different matter on Monday, they found the man and the woman together.
Police said their investigation showed that the woman had been communicating with the man and had invited him over to her residence.
As a result, the woman was arrested and charged with one count of facilitating a breach.
The man was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with his release order.
