Seventh suspect in Oyenuga murder arrested in North York

The Ontario Provincial Police and Walpole Island First Nation Police have arrested a seventh suspect in the murder of a Windsor man reported missing over a year ago.

Oyebode Oyenuga's body was found on Walpole Island in March 2021, a month after he was reported missing in Windsor.

Last Thursday, officers arrested 21-year-old Nashaye Walker at an address in North York. Walker is charged with first-degree murder and remains in police custody following Friday's bail hearing.

Four other suspects also face first-degree murder charges, 31-year-old Rolf Rodley Agarrd and Saccaara Johnson of Windsor, 23-year-old Dejour Millington of Toronto, and 40-year-old Dwayne Jahton Blair.

Zy-Shaun Lawrence, 20, of Kitchener, is charged with accessory after the fact to murder and indignity to a dead body. A sixth suspect, 36-year-old Jeffrey Drew Bliss of Erieau, faces a charge of trafficking a firearm, device or ammunition.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
