Disturbance in Wallaceburg leads to charges
A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged with assault and mischief after a disturbance at a residence on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.
The man was taken to police headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date on March 28, 2022.

Vehicle stolen outside of Tilbury returned to owner
Chatham-Kent police have recovered and returned a vehicle that was stolen outside of Tilbury to its rightful owner, but they are still looking for a suspect.
Officers were called to a residence on Dashwheel Line Monday for a report of a vehicle that had been stolen sometime within 24 hours before police arrived.
Police said an officer spotted the stolen vehicle just after midnight and when police tried to initiate a traffic stop but the driver failed to stop.
Police said for safety reasons, the officer did not pursue a pursuit. The vehicle was found abandoned near Bloomfield Road and the 8th Line.

March is fraud prevention month
Chatham-Kent police continue to receive reports of suspicious phone calls from people purporting to be from the CRA, border services, and banks.
Police are reminding the public that scammers may use threatening language or aggressive tones to scare individuals into making payments. Personal or financial information should never be given over the phone, especially, if you didn't initiate the call.
If you receive a suspicious email, please refrain from clicking any links, and delete the email immediately.
