OPP identify driver involved in fatal collision

Lambton County OPP have identified the driver involved in a fatal crash earlier this month as a 59-year-old Dresden woman.

A fatal two-vehicle collision was reported on September 10, at the intersection of Marthaville Road and Aberfeldy Line in Dawn-Euphemia Township.

Two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries while a third person was pronounced dead. Police have now identified the deceased as Sandra McDougall.

The collision is still under investigation.

Youth volunteers practice coastal conservation

Nine young volunteers aged 11 to 17 spent three days exploring and protecting the Lake Huron coastline during the Coastal Conservation Youth Corps' inaugural program in Grand Bend from July 21 to 23.
