Table saw stolen from Chatham business 

Police are investigating a break and enter at a business on Colborne Street in Chatham that happened sometime Saturday night.

Police say a rock was thrown at the window to gain access into the business, in which a table saw valued at $500 was stolen.

Woman charged with assault 

A 36-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to a family dispute on Saturday.

Police say they were called to an incident on Foster Street in Chatham shortly after 1 p.m.

As a result, the woman was charged with one count of assault and later released with a future court date on October 6, 2021.

Three charged in separate incidents of being intoxicated 

Too much to drink has landed three people in Chatham-Kent police custody, all charged under the Liquor License Act.

A 24-year-old man from Kingston was found unable to care for himself when police responded to a disturbance on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg Saturday afternoon.

The man was transported to police headquarters where he was held until sober.

Chatham-Kent police were also called to a disturbance on Sandys Street in Chatham, where a 39-year-old Tilbury man was found unable to care for himself.

The man was arrested and held at police headquarters until sober.

Then just after midnight on Sunday, police were called to a disturbance involving two people at a Grand Avenue East address in Chatham.

 As a result, a 30-year old Chatham female was arrested for breach of peace, as well as being unable to care for herself.

She was held in custody until sober.
