There's been another COVID-19 death at Bluewater Health.
On its website Thursday, the hospital reported its 54th death since the start of the pandemic.
Communications Chief Julia Oosterman said the latest death was a Lambton area man in his 70s.
It's the first local death linked to the virus since July 21.
Lambton Public Health reported four more confirmed cases of the virus up to 3,681. The number of cases deemed resolved went up by two for a total of 3,593, increasing the active case count by two to 20.
There are no active workplace or institutional outbreaks, and there are no COVID-positive patients in hospital.
