UPDATE: Thunderstorms likely in southwestern Ontario

Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of southwestern Ontario.

A warning was issued for Eastern Lambton County and Chatham-Kent at around 3 p.m. on Sunday, and was ended shortly after at around 3:30 p.m.

The weather agency said it was tracking a severe thunderstorm that is moving southeast at 60 kilometres per hour, which is capable of producing up to nickel size hail.

Environment Canada said thunderstorms are still possible as a cold front moves through the region. The main threats will be hail and wind gusts up to 70 km/h.
