Video footage helps police locate suspect following break and enter 

A 41-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into New Vision Optical in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent police said they responded to the incident at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. After reviewing the security footage, police were able to identify and locate the man.

The man was charged with break and enter with intent to commit theft. He was released with a future court date on September 8.

Pair arrested on outstanding warrants 

A 32-year-old Walpole Island man has been arrested after being found to have multiple warrants with the Chatham-Kent Police Service.

Police arrested the man and transported him to police headquarters where he was held for bail.

Police have arrested a 56-year-old Chatham man after he being located in the area of Wellington Street.

The male was found to have multiple outstanding warrants and was placed under arrest. He was then brought to police headquarters where he was released with a future court date.

Intoxicated man arrested after becoming aggressive toward security guard 

A 27-year-old Chatham male has been arrested after becoming aggressive with a security guard at a local establishment.

Police said they intervened after observed the intoxicated male becoming aggressive. The male was brought to headquarters and later released into the care of a family member.

The male was issued a PON for being intoxicated in a public place.
