No change to COVID caseload

Lambton Public Health reported no change to the COVID-19 caseload Friday.

The number of confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic remains at 3,633 and the number of resolved cases sits at 3,562.

Since March, 2020 there have been 67 COVID-related deaths locally, putting the number of active infections at four, unchanged from Thursday.

There are no active workplace or institutional outbreaks according to the health unit, and Bluewater Health had no COVID-positive patients in hospital.

Youth volunteers practice coastal conservation

Nine young volunteers aged 11 to 17 spent three days exploring and protecting the Lake Huron coastline during the Coastal Conservation Youth Corps' inaugural program in Grand Bend from July 21 to 23.
