COVID-19 claims another life of a Midwestern Ontario resident

COVID-19 has now lead to the deaths of 17 Grey Bruce residents. The Grey Bruce Health Unit updated the number of fatalities in the Thursday situation report. The Grey Bruce Health Unit also confirmed another 15 cases of COVID-19. There are now 146 active cases . Seven residents are hospitalized with the virus.

Huron Perth Public Health added four new cases of COVID-19 Thursday, all in Stratford. There are 15 active cases.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health added five new cases of the novel coronavirus, but none of them were located in Wellington. There are eight active cases in Wellington.

Nine young volunteers aged 11 to 17 spent three days exploring and protecting the Lake Huron coastline during the Coastal Conservation Youth Corps' inaugural program in Grand Bend from July 21 to 23.
