Crash leads to arrest of alleged impaired driver
A 20-year-old woman accused of crashing into multiple parked cars on Oxley Drive in Chatham has been arrested for allegedly driving while impaired.
Chatham-Kent police were called shortly before 4 a.m.
The driver won't be behind the wheel any time soon. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.
She was eventually released from police custody with a future court date.

Driver refuses to provide breath sample
A 31-year-old woman suspected of being impaired behind the while has been arrested after she allegedly refused to provide a breath sample.
Officers were called about a vehicle that was reportedly speeding on Kimball Road in Wallaceburg around 11 p.m. Friday.
The driver was arrested following a traffic stop.
Her vehicle was impounded for seven days and her licence was suspended for 90 days. She was released from police custody with a future court date.

Two arrested on warrants
Two men wanted on warrants for separate incidents have been arrested in Chatham.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on Third Street Friday morning for allegedly failing to attend court.
Later that day, police arrested a 39-year-old man on Richmond Street who was wanted for theft under $5,000 and possession under $5,000.
Both men were released from police custody with future court dates.
