Emergency crews responded to a tank fire at Stealth Metals in Wallaceburg around 11:10 a.m. Tuesday.
Officials said an unknown residue caught on fire while employees were cutting the metal.
The fire was contained to the tank and flames were quickly put out.
Firefighters stuck around the scene cooling the tank until 1 p.m.
Officials said no injuries were reported as a result and the property owner will be contacting the Ministry of the Environment.
