Wallaceburg house fire causes $150K in damage

Damage is pegged around $150,000 after a house fire in Wallaceburg.

Firefighters from two stations were called to the blaze on Reaume Avenue around 11:15 p.m. Sunday.

According to Chatham-Kent Fire, crews arrived to the exterior of the house in flames and growing larger. However, quick actions from the firefighters contained the flames to the exterior of the building and carport.

No injuries are being reported and the cause is listed as undetermined.
