Walk-ins will be welcome at Wingham COVID-19 vaccine clinic

Huron Perth Public Health has announced walk-ins will be accepted Tuesday, July 6th at a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Wingham.

The clinic is being held at the North Huron Wescast Community Complex, 99 Kerr Drive, Wingham. Walk-ins will be accepted from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or until vaccine supply for walk-ins has been used up.

This clinic is only for individuals 18 and older. Moderna vaccine will be administered.

People can come for either a first or second dose. For a second dose, people should make sure it has been at least 28 days since their first mRNA dose.

Public Health says mRNA vaccines like Pfizer and Moderna can be mixed safely and effectively.

Clinic staff will direct both booked appointments and walk-ins upon arrival.

With the continued heat and humidity, people should bring water to stay hydrated.
