Lottery ticket worth $1M sold in CK

A winning Lotto Max ticket for Friday night's draw worth $1 million was sold in Chatham-Kent.

Thirty-three Maxmillions prizes were won, however, no one won the $70 million jackpot.

"It’s been eight weeks since the last jackpot was won, making this the longest jackpot 'roll' in [Lotto Max] history!" read a release from the OLG.

Of the 33 Maxmillions prizes won, 15 winning tickets were sold in Ontario.

Two tickets worth $1 million were purchased in Huron County.

A winning ticket worth $500,000 and a ticket worth $134,170 were both sold in Norfolk County.

Tickets can be checked through the OLG website or by using the OLG Lottery App on a smartphone.

The next Lotto Max draw will be held on Tuesday, June 22. A record $140 million will be available in top prizes. The jackpot is set at $70 million with an estimated 70 Maxmillions prizes up for grabs.
