Dozens of new COVID-19 cases added in Midwestern Ontario

The Grey Bruce Health Unit added 13 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours,  five in Southgate, two in West Grey two in  Owen Sound, two in Saugeen Shores and one each in Kincardine and South Bruce Peninsula.  There are  57 Active Cases including 44 active variants of concern.  Three residents are hospitalized in Grey Bruce due to COVID-19.

Huron Perth Public Health reports a 57th fatality today related to COVID-19.  Six new cases were added Thursday, three in Perth East, two in West Perth and one in Stratford. There are 77 active cases and 44 of them are variants.  No one is in hospital with the virus.

Ten new cases of COVID-19 were added Thursday by public health officials in Wellington County, which now has 56 active cases,  Across the Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health jurisdiction, there were 28 new cases in all, and there are 254 active cases.  13 people are in hospital, and another 7 in the ICU.  There are five workplace outbreaks.
