Woman arrested on strength of outstanding warrant
Shortly before 8 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 20 year-old Chatham women was located in the area of Park Avenue East. The woman was found to have an outstanding warrant. She was charged and later released with a future court date.

Two men arrested on strength of outstanding property related warrant
Early Friday afternoon, police arrested a 27 year-old Wheatley resident in relation to an outstanding warrant. An investigation revealed that the previous incident involved charges related to possession of stolen property. The man was taken to CK Police Headquarters and held for bail.
Later that afternoon, police located a 25 year-old Chatham man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. He was found in the area of Richmond Street in Chatham, where he was arrested and charged. The man was later released with a future court date.

Man arrested for impaired driving
Around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, March 19, police on general patrol noticed a vehicle being operated in a manner consistent with impaired driving behaviour. Officers initiated a traffic stop, where the 28 year-old driver from Newmarket failed the standard field sobriety test. The man was taken to police headquarters, where a breathalyzer test found him to be over the legal limit. The man was charged with impaired driving and also faces an additional charge of driving while under suspension. He was released with a future court date.

Roadway safety blitz conducted
On March 19, 2021, members of the Community Patrol Branch conducted a Roadway Safety Blitz in multiple locations throughout the Municipality. In total, 19 Provincial Offence Notices were issued in relation to driving and occupant safety infractions.

Man arrested following incident at Ambassador Bridge
Early Saturday morning, officers located a 35 year-old man they believed to be homeless in the area of Talbot Street West in Blenheim. Further investigation found that the man was the subject of an incident earlier in the day at Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, where he evaded customs and fled the scene. The man was arrested and taken directly to Canada Customs, who took custody and continued their investigation.
