Potential COVID-19 exposure at Leamington store

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is informing residents of a possible exposure site for COVID-19 in Leamington.

The health unit is asking anyone who went to the Real Canadian Superstore on Talbot Street on three specific days to self-monitor for 14 days. If they experience symptoms, they should contact their health care provider for further instructions.

The dates of exposure identified by the health unit are March 1 from 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., March 5 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and March 7 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Health officials point out that the risk of exposure is low.

This is the second active possible exposure point during March. The other is at a Starbucks on Tecumseh Road East in Windsor.

All current exposure points can be found on the health unit's official website.
